I finally got back to work this week and started whittling down my To-Do list.  I was out of the office for almost two weeks and have a ton to catch up on!!  Wanted to put a few baby pics online because I know everyone is waiting for them!!

Last night, in addition to watching the Phillies win the world series, we welcomed our daughter Josephine into this world!!!

Mom and baby are both doing awesome and recovering nicely. We will have more pictures online as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can check out the two below!!

I’m expecting to be out of the office the rest of this week and a good portion of next week. I’ll be checking email and phone messages and respond when I can.

Just wanted to let everyone know we are on our way to the hospital for the birth of our daughter!!! I’ll be out of the office for a few days and I might be a bit slow responding to emails.

We’ll have pictures online as soon as possible!!

5 WEEKS AND COUNTING… Mom and baby are both doing great!!  We had our baby showers these past two weekends and want to say a special thank you to all our past clients who were able to come out and share the day with us!

In addition to baby prep, we’ve been hard at work on our new pricing for our custom albums.  We simplified the pricing structure, and lowered prices on a few items.  We’ve put a PDF of our new price list up in the albums section of the weddings by james website.  You can also download a copy of it by clicking HERE.

Before the end of September we will be rolling out our new wedding packages.  After 4 years of meeting with brides and listening to what they want we think our new packages will be a huge hit!

Starting in October we are switching to a new online hosting service for our events.  The change will bring a slew of new administration features for us and benefits for our clients as well.  A few new things are a cleaner interface, with more products available for ordering online, and less junk mail in your inbox!  We will post more information later in the month once the switchover draws closer.

Just an FYI to everyone. Our router has died and we are awaiting a replacement from Verizon. We will be without phone and Internet in the office until tuesday afternoon. We will still have access to our emails and voicemail and will try to respond to any inquirys as quickly as possible.

Where to begin…

Well for starters, for those of you who are not already aware, we are 2 months away from the birth of our daughter!!  Both mom & baby are doing great (dads holding up OK too).  Prepping for the baby combined with our shooting schedule has given us one busy summer!  Be sure and look here come the end of October for our birth announcement and pictures!!

Interest for 2009 has been strong and dates are filling up fast!  If you or someone you know is planning a wedding for next year and interested in hiring us, be sure and contact us soon to reserve your date.

Our initial order of photo tote bags sold out almost instantly!!  We are currently getting ready to place our next order and should have some in-stock by the end of the month.  We are currently working on incorporating our pTotes line into our existing sites layouts.  In the meantime we have placed a temporary site online so people to browse the different styles & prices we have to offer, ordering information, and choose a photo.

By the end of the week, we hope to have our Stock Images gallery online with all the different photo choices we currently offer.  Of course you can send your own image as well as arrange for a Family Portrait session to create a new image just for you!

I just finished updating all 6 of the weddings in our portfolio on the Weddings by James site with new pictures.  All the weddings are showcasing our latest work from this year.  We are close to rolling out a ton of new and exciting stuff we have been working on for the wedding business.  We hope to have everything in place by the middle of July.

I know its been a while sine we’ve posted anything, we’ve been busy with meeting new brides, taking care of our current ones, and some exciting developments in our personal Life. This weekend marks a milestone of sorts, we are a 1/3rd of a way through our season already!!

Booking for next year has been very strong, so be sure and get in touch with us soon and get your date on the calendar!!

We are working on a new section for both our website to showcase our line photo totes and hope to roll that out sometime during the summer. We are also working on a new gallery to the Weddings by James site that showcases our engagement session work; and as soon as I get a free moment I’m going to be updating all the galleries on the website with new photos from more current weddings.
